I am actually REALLY fond of Ned, as much as he frustrates me. I was devastated when-- you know. WHEN LORAS YELLS LIKE THIS, IT'S BECAUSE HE LOVES ME - this is where I'm coming from. It's part of the beauty of the books, you can always see where everyone's coming from and where they're heading like a fast train to nowhere, and there are always two, three sides to every story and almost everyone's moral outrage is relatable.
