All he did was to eyeroll like Renly was a child speaking out of turn. Well, he kind of really is a child speaking out of turn in Ned's eyes. But that doesn't mean he doesn't have the right, and a damn fine point to make^_^
(Personally, I'm just glad that we get to see Jon Snow and the happenings on the Wall in this episode. I've missed him!)
Also, Robert's death is REALLY sudden, and goes by REALLY fast... it irked me. Does it work that way in the book, too? I haven't gotten that far.
